SUMMARY: 

This individual is primarily responsible for assisting the Sales Executives and region in the development, marketing, and profitable growth of PI business in an assigned region.  This position is for the Inside Sales Unit, Phoenix, AZ.


PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

All sales initiative support - agency communications

-Provide assistance with new agency prospecting (post-card mailings, kits, etc)
-Maintain agency databases (agency list, e-mail list and contest list)
-CCC - research code requests and contracts
-Manages One to One program - registering agents, tracking agency usage
-Contest Administration including marketing to agents; liaison between HO and Field; monitor results

Sales Exec support - calendar, general reports, expense reports, travel planner, APM work, SE/agent requests, etc.

-Assist with agency meetings (meeting set-up, invitations and material preparation)
-Learns SAM Plan components and process.  May assist in research for agent's
   Strategic Agency Management (SAM) plans.
-Provide follow up to customer service requests; elevate unresolved matters to ensure prompt resolution.
-Learn Travelers¿ computer systems and assist agents with issues or coordinate with training to help resolve these issues.
-Field questions from agents on Products (i.e. Benefits Plus, Preferred Programs and FVBC)
-Assist agents with system quoting questions
-Assist with quoting for book transfers and prospective agencies
-Research billing questions (i.e. commission, direct bill, sweep account issues)

Manage Book transfers - including agreements, progress and success rates

-Policy transfer requests (submission and tracking)
-Conduct Scan requests for specific codes or entire agency books as requested by the SE

Event Planning

-Understands details of Travelers' marketing programs.  Assists in the preparation of presentation material for agencies.
-Manages attendees to workshops; sends invitations.  Schedules follow up meetings for attendees of Agency Development workshops.
-Ordering supplies, brochures, promotional merchandise

Leadership Support

-TAP tool, reports, spreadsheet work; FVBC
-Review trends to assist SE to stimulate growth (i.e. reviewing quote, production, loss ratio and PIF numbers)
-Data support for Sales Executives - run lists, commission statements



EDUCATION/COURSE OF STUDY: 
Bachelors degree preferred


WORK EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: 
0-1 years of Sales or PI experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products


COMMUNICATION SKILLS: 
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Adept interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external customers


COMPUTER SKILLS: 
Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products with ability to manipulate data in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint quickly and accurately
Knowledge and or ability to learn new programs quickly
