The Senior Consultant, Research & Modeling provides data mining, research and predictive modeling to achieve the Company¿s objectives for profitability and growth.  The Senior Consultant, Research & Modeling also applies statistical concepts and data analysis methods in innovative research and modeling while working on various projects in collaboration with the Company¿s analysts.  In addition, the Senior Consultant, Research & Modeling assists researching new ways of using statistical methodologies, as well as in developing new approaches to business problems using advanced statistical techniques.  Further, the Senior Consultant, Research & Modeling participates in research and predictive modeling, interprets data and identifies correlations using both univariate and multivariate analysis.  Finally, the Senior Consultant, Research & Modeling offers recommendations to improve analyses, investigates and assists in data analysis, and assists in summarizing results and performs programming in SAS, Excel, Access and the Company¿s software to perform modeling activities.

Successful candidates must possess at least a master¿s degree or its equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Actuarial Science or other quantitative science.  The Senior Consultant, Research & Modeling must also possess classroom training/project and/or work experience with the practical application of statistical modeling and data mining techniques (GLM, clustering, decision trees, and/or text mining, etc.); with structuring research projects; and with programming in SAS.

Approximately 40 hours per week; $75,000.00 to $101,500.00 per year, depending on experience.
