SUMMARY:
Entry level position requiring direct supervision. Responsible for data management/integrity; conducting or assisting in the documentation/
performance of simple to routine projects (i.e., financial analysis, expense reporting/monitoring, process/system maintenance, etc.); and providing functional support as assigned.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Job Components (may include but are not limited to):
Perform basic financial reporting, data management functions.
Generate routine reports for area use.
Assess reasonableness of data and identify discrepancies.
Compile statistics/data.
Monitor and report on variances.
Prepare data entries in accordance with established standards.
Perform reconciliations.
Process expense reports.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Entry level requiring minimal experience.
Basic accounting /financial reporting skills.
CERTIFICATES/DEGREES:
Typically has finance or accounting degree.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Good communication skills
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Able to use spreadsheets.
Familiar with financial spreadsheet and database software
OTHER:
Takes responsibility for decisions and actions.
Is flexible and can adjust to new situations and changing priorities.
Able to manage resources.
Able to think through and resolve simple/routine problems.
Basic understanding of business issues.
Able to work independently and in a team environment.
